Hazard Management in WORKLINX
The WORKLINX hazard management system was modeled on standard OSH requirements and contains an audit trail capability.
All hazards are Located in WORKLINX Departments & Areas to comply with Regulatory Requirements.
WORKLINX provides an I.T. – based hazard management system with associated Health & Safety records. All hazards are entered into WORKLINX using a quick-sort code and a well defined title.
WORKLINX rates the Hazard:
These ratings also tag a colour code to the hazard which appears in the system for quick identification of dangers:
- Low – Yellow
- Average – Orange
- High – Red
It is recommended that this information be supplied by an expert. This may be a person on your staff who knows about the hazard or often a supplier can provide more accurate and specific hazard information about equipment or products via Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). The WORKLINX description will include all relevant detail so maximum information is available for training, incidents, health & safety reviews, etc.
WORKLINX has a colour-linked Locations System as well. You simply click on the Department and Area where the hazard is located and the system records the entry. This information is also featured elsewhere in WORKLINX to give quick location reference.
Hazard - Work Actions
WORKLINX delivers Step-by-step Work Actions & Procedures for managing the hazard. This information could be life saving.
WORKLINX records a full history on your hazards. This includes notes on checks, events, maintenance, accidents and any other activities. The system keeps these secured for permanent retrieval. Password protection ensures records cannot be tampered with.
Reports can be viewed on line for quick reference or they can be printed out. You may select summary data or you can include history details to meet employee needs or government requirements.
